Welcome to Sea Gadabout Seaside Stays, operated by Rising Sun Hospitality Co. (domain: seagadabout.com). By accessing our website, booking accommodations, or utilizing our hospitality services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions.
1. Reservation & Booking Confirmation
All bookings made directly via our booking platform (letsbook.me) or our website are confirmed upon receipt of valid payment or advance deposit as specified at the time of reservation. You will receive an instant digital voucher and confirmation email containing your booking reference, check-in instructions, and payment receipts.
2. Identification & Check-In Requirements
In accordance with Indian regulatory guidelines and Pondicherry police verification regulations:
- All Indian national guests must present a valid Government-issued photo ID (Aadhaar Card, Passport, Voter ID, or Driving License) upon check-in. PAN cards are not accepted as address proof.
- Foreign nationals must produce an original valid Passport, Indian Visa, and submit Form-C details as mandated by FRRO regulations.
3. Check-In & Check-Out Timings
- Standard Check-In Time: 1:00 PM
- Standard Check-Out Time: 11:00 AM
- Early check-in and late check-out requests are subject to room availability and may attract nominal hourly charges.
4. Property Code of Conduct & House Rules
Guests are expected to treat the properties, heritage architecture, and fellow residents with utmost respect:
- Non-smoking policy applies within all indoor bedrooms and air-conditioned suites. Designated smoking areas are available outdoors.
- Quiet hours are observed between 10:30 PM and 7:00 AM to respect neighbors and ensure a restful stay for all.
- Any damage to furnishings, appliances, or heritage decor will be assessed and billed to the guest prior to check-out.
5. Payments & Security
All online payments made through our Razorpay payment portal (https://razorpay.me/@risingsunhospitalityco) are protected by 256-bit SSL encryption and processed in Indian Rupees (INR). Guests are responsible for verifying payment references.
6. Limitation of Liability
Rising Sun Hospitality Co. and Sea Gadabout shall not be held liable for failure of performance resulting from acts of God, extreme natural events, cyclones, government restrictions, or power outages beyond reasonable management control. Personal valuables are the responsibility of guests; in-room lockers/safekeeping are recommended.
7. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of reservations or stays shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Pondicherry, India.
